ACCESS Project Piloting Phase Launched Across Europe

The piloting phase of the ACCESS in Learning Difficulties project has officially begun in partner countries: Lithuania, Greece, Spain, Romania, and Italy. This exciting phase marks a key step in testing the project’s innovative e-learning course, designed specifically for primary school teachers.

About the E-Learning Course

The ACCESS e-learning program empowers teachers with the skills and knowledge to identify and manage learning difficulties (LDs) within mainstream classrooms. Key topics covered in the course include:

  • Introduction to Learning Difficulties
  • Targeted strategies and exercises
  • Tailored interventions for individual students
  • Classroom management techniques
  • Collaboration with families to support learners

The course is designed to provide practical, evidence-based tools that teachers can immediately apply in their classrooms.

Goals of the Piloting Phase

The piloting phase will be implemented over two months, engaging a minimum of 50 teachers per country—totaling around 250 participants. The main objectives include:

  • Testing the e-learning course under real classroom conditions
  • Collecting meaningful feedback on course structure, content, usability, and pedagogical value
  • Identifying areas for improvement before finalizing the course and the e-learning platform
  • Evaluating teachers’ engagement, satisfaction, and perceived usefulness

Teachers’ input is essential to ensure the course is relevant, adaptable, and of high quality.

Eligible Participants

The course targets professionals working with children with learning difficulties, including:

  • Primary school teachers
  • Special education teachers
  • Support teachers (e.g., parallel support)
  • Other professionals involved in supporting children with LDs

This collaborative effort will help refine the ACCESS e-learning course and ensure it meets the real-world needs of teachers across Europe.

We invite teachers and professionals working with children with learning difficulties to join the piloting phase and test our e-learning course. You can access the course and register here: ACCESS in Learning Difficulties E-Learning Course
